Psychotherapy that emphasizes finding solutions to current problems and focuses on what individuals can do in the future rather than delving into past issues. This approach encourages clients to envision a desired future and then works collaboratively with the therapist to develop a series of steps to achieve those goals.

Solution-focused Therapy

A practice where an individual uses a technique – such as mindfulness or focusing the mind on a particular object, thought, or activity – to achieve a mentally clear and emotionally calm state. It has been widely studied and shown to reduce stress, anxiety, and depression and to enhance overall well-being.


Meditation

Conscious and systematic attention to the breathing pattern. It is used to improve mental, physical, and spiritual well-being. Various techniques exist, such as diaphragmatic breathing, box breathing, and pranayama (from yoga), each serving different purposes, including relaxation and increased energy and focus.

Breathwork

A specialized form of yoga practice designed to be a safe and gentle way to help individuals deal with the physical and emotional symptoms of trauma. It focuses on creating an environment where students feel in control of their bodies and can explore movement and breathwork in a way that promotes healing.

Trauma-informed Yoga

Also known as sound therapy or sound healing, uses instruments like crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, gongs, and tuning forks to promote relaxation and healing. The vibrations produced by these instruments are believed to reduce stress, alleviate pain, and lead to deeper states of meditation by harmonizing the body's frequencies.
